Could the harry potter universe be real?
how do we know it isn't? how do we know it never existed at all? maybe we're just like the muggles in the books who believe that magic isn't real when it's totally alive and thriving. when in fact all of the wizards and witches live in antartica and siberia. i mean how do you KNOW they didn't put a charm on it to make it LOOK as if nobody lived there and it were covered in ice, when in fact there's a whole world only visible to people with magical abilities. and the only reason you haven't seen them out and about is because they'd really have no reason to go anywhere else except for muggle study and vacations of course. but i mean WOW for jkr to just make that up in her head....props to her
Would harry potter or bilbo baggins win in a dual?
the dual would occur when Bilbo Baggins had the one ring, and when harry potter had all the 3 deathly hallows. Bilbo Baggins would know how to use the full power of the one ring for the purpose of this dual, so he should have invincibility, invisibility, immortality, mind reading, the ability to predict the future, and the power of full domination of the will of anyone. Harry potter would have the elder wand giving him invincibility, and enhanced magical ability, and he would have invisibility with his cloak. Which one would win in this scenario?

If Harry Potter, certain anime/movies are not glorifying to God, then why do Christians still view these?
In 2 Corinthians 5 17 it says that Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation the old has gone, the new has come. But many of us Christians today are still involved in reading books based on Harry Potter, watching movies, anime like Naruto that are not glorifying to God. And yet, we still do watch these things. I know many friends who aren't even Christian that comes from a Calvinist background. They still watch anime shows like Naruto that aren't gloryfying to God. In the bible it tells us to guard our hearts and our minds. Any t.v show we see today on tv can be unglorifying to God. And even if it is, we continue to watch it and think to ourselfs, " This isn't so bad." Why does this happen to so many Christians these days?Another thing I wanted to point out is piracy. Even though you can get a lot of software movies free these days its stealing and still wrong. The bible talks about the consequences about doing this. But Christians still do this. Cass, the bible tells us to Guard our hearts and our minds to things that doesn't please God. Today we as Christians fill our heads with so much worldliness and unpleasing things instead of filling our heads with scripture and studying Gods word. And I believe that we are coming to times where if we don't know our scriptures in times of troubles, it will be very hard to survive in the days to come. If not, possibly defeated. Sim plicimus, we are in no place to talk about the Apostle Paul like that. In I Corinthians 11 1 he says, " Imitate me as I imitate Christ." As far as I know, no other disciple of Jesus in the bible has never said that. Hes been thrown in Jail, sacrificed his life to minister to the unsaved. And what do we do as Christians? When was the last time you've been on a missions trip? We are all called to do missions to you know. In James ch 1 22 it says to not only be just hearers but also doers of the word. And today, many of us " so called" Christians treat our bibles as a nice pillow to sleep on.
For Harry Potter Nerds! Doesn't it irritate you when ppl use the term priori incantatem incorrectly?!?
So Priori Incantatem " the reverse spell affect" is described as when two brother core wands are forced to duel. But what really gets me is how ppl who have seen the movies think whenever there is a duel this affect is taking place. First of all, when two spells collide a golden lava energy is emitted as portrayed in the films but what separates an average duel from a PI scene is the globe of light engaging the duelers... anyways this always has bothered me. Especially when I read ppls response about the new DH teailer. They're like " whoa did you see that priori Incantatem scene in the final showdown between Harry and Vold?" That's just absurd Harry had Draco's wand and Voldemort the elder wand... also in OotP the Dumbledore Voldemort duel ppl confuse the real meaning of PI with their epic duel. So yeah correct me if I'm mistaken I just want to hear other ppls opinions on this subject because I believe PI is something more than just powerful magic clashing simultaneous from both ends.
